ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
What is a weighted blanket? A weighted blanket is filled with glass beads or knitted yarn that adds gentle, evenly distributed weight across your body. The deep touch pressure helps calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep onset.
How heavy should my weighted blanket be? Roughly 10 percent of your body weight, rounded to the nearest available size. See our guide: How to Choose a Weighted Blanket.
Are weighted blankets safe? Yes, for most healthy adults and older children. Not recommended for infants, toddlers, or anyone with respiratory issues, circulation problems, or conditions that affect ability to remove the blanket independently. If you have any health concerns, speak with your doctor first.
Can I use a weighted blanket if I run hot at night? Yes. Choose a knitted weighted blanket from cotton or chenille yarn, they breathe better than bead-filled blankets. We also carry bamboo and cooling covers.
How do I wash my weighted blanket? Most come with a removable, machine-washable cover. Wash the cover cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. The weighted insert itself can usually be spot-cleaned or hand-washed; specific care instructions are included with each product.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Where do you ship? Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and most other countries. Specific availability and timing are shown at checkout.
How long does shipping take? Canada and US: 7 to 15 business days. UK and EU: 10 to 20 business days. Rest of world: 14 to 30 business days. Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days of payment.
Is shipping free? We offer free standard shipping on orders over CAD $99 within Canada and the United States. International rates are calculated at checkout.
Can I track my order? Yes. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Tracking can take 24 to 48 hours to update after the carrier picks up the package.
What is your return policy? Return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging.
What about customs and duties? International orders may be subject to customs duties or taxes set by the destination country. These charges are the customer's responsibility.
SLEEP AND WELLNESS
Will a weighted blanket cure my insomnia? No. A weighted blanket is not a clinical treatment. It can be a helpful part of a broader sleep routine, but will not replace medical care, therapy, or medication when those are needed.
Can I use a weighted blanket during the day? Yes. Many customers use a smaller weighted lap pad while working, reading, or commuting.
